Pop-up markets
Kō Mahi’ai Mākeke Farmers & Crafters Market
I checked this one out with a friend last month. Her family buys their veggies here every Saturday. It’s small and do check out the Ono Donuts food truck while you are there. It’s located in Central Kihei, behind the Taco Bell and Regency movie theater (1819 S. Kihei Rd Kukui Mall in Kihei. Open Saturdays, 8AM to noon, but go early for best selection.
Wailea Village Tuesday Market (Wailea)
I’ve blogged about the Wailea Village Tuesday market a few years back. It is still going strong, breathing life into this newer mall area. They are in the courtyard right in front of Kohola Brewery and Sabado Gallery, below my favorite card shop Paper Garden (check out their craft events – I’ve done two!) and Akamai Coffee. It runs Tuesdays from 8AM to 11AM. The address is 116 Wailea Ike Drive, just up the hill from the Shops at Wailea, next to Manoli’s.
Kihei Wailea Gift & Craft Fair
This is a pop-up gift and craft market at the corner of Keonekai Road and South Kihei Road. Confession, I drive by here very regularly, in fact it is within walking distance to our Kamaole Sands and Maui Kamaole condos, but have never stopped. It runs Wednesdays from 9AM to 2PM.
Artisan Market at South Maui Gardens
Have you checked out South Maui Gardens with its popular food trucks and hula show? They still run their artisan market Thursdays from 9AM to 1PM. On a side note ~ remember the parrot guy from Front Street in Lahaina? This is where he re-located to after the fire.
(Almost) daily markets
ABC Store Farmers’ Market of Maui
Ok, so it’s not affiliated with the ABC store, but it is right next to the one in North Kihei at 61 S Kihei Road. This is also right next to Ululani’s shave ice and the Sugar Beach Bakery, both definitely worth checking out. It’s walking distance from our Sugar Beach condo (my preference is to walk the beach and then cross the road). It runs Monday through Thursdays, 8AM to 4PM., Fridays 8AM to 5PM.
Kihei Craft Fair
This is on a gravel lot next to the Kihei McDonald’s in Central Kihei, at 1194 South Kihei Rd. It is open Monday through Saturday 9AM – 4PM
Yee’s Orchard & Fruit Stand
Yee’s is a legend. This is the only remaining mango farm in Kihei, located at 1165 South Kihei Rd next to Longs. Their property goes all the way back to Liloa Rd. They have amazing mangos, and I’ve seen other fruit there also (papaya for sure, not sure what else). It’s been a while since I last went (since our own mango tree has started producing). You will never look at mango the same again.
They are open Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, 11AM-5PM.

Kihei 4th Friday
Years ago Maui hosted weekly Friday town parties. These days only two remain, the Wailuku (1st Friday) and Kihei (4th Friday) town parties. This one takes place on the fourth Friday of every month from 6-9PM in the Azeka mauka (mountainside) and Longs shopping plaza parking lots. Come for vendors, food trucks, live music and entertainment. 1279 South Kihei Rd.
